These Gift Card Terms ("Terms") govern the purchase, use, redemption, and management of House of Lightelle™ Gift Cards.
By purchasing, receiving, or redeeming a Gift Card, you agree to these Terms.
1. Gift Cards
House of Lightelle™ Gift Cards are available in electronic (Digital Gift Card) and, where offered, physical formats.
Gift Cards may be purchased only through authorized House of Lightelle™ sales channels.
2. Redemption
Gift Cards may be redeemed exclusively at:
Gift Cards may be used toward eligible products available on our Website.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash.
3. Validity
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase or required by applicable law, House of Lightelle™ Gift Cards do not expire.
Where local laws require expiration dates or other limitations, those laws will apply.
4. Balance
If the purchase amount exceeds the available Gift Card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another accepted payment method.
If your purchase total is less than the Gift Card balance, the remaining balance will remain available for future purchases.
5. Lost, Stolen or Unauthorized Use
Gift Cards should be treated like cash.
House of Lightelle™ is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, deleted, or unauthorized use of Gift Cards unless required by applicable law.
Please keep your Gift Card information secure.
6. Returns
If a purchase made using a Gift Card is eligible for a refund, the refunded amount will generally be returned to:
- The original Gift Card, where possible; or
- Another Gift Card issued by House of Lightelle™, at our discretion.
Refunds will not be issued in cash unless required by applicable law.
7. Restrictions
Gift Cards may not be used to:
- Purchase additional Gift Cards
- Be resold without authorization
- Be exchanged for cash (except where required by law)
- Be used for unlawful or fraudulent activities
House of Lightelle™ reserves the right to cancel Gift Cards obtained or used through fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized means.
8. Fraud Prevention
To protect our customers and our business, we may suspend, refuse, or cancel Gift Cards if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, unauthorized activity, or violations of these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, House of Lightelle™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use a Gift Card.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Changes to These Terms
House of Lightelle™ may update these Gift Card Terms at any time.
Changes become effective immediately upon publication on this page unless otherwise stated.
Continued use of a Gift Card after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Gift Card Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which House of Lightelle™ operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
